WE’RE HIRING: Engagement Officer
Location: Morpeth (with outreach across Northumberland)
Hours: Full-time (37 hours)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Join Vision Northumberland as our new Engagement Officer and help empower people with sensory impairments to live independently, safely, and happily.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and support community events, initiatives and engagement activities
• Build strong relationships with individuals, groups and partner organisations
• Deliver awareness training and promote inclusion across Northumberland
• Play a key role in implementing our Engagement Strategy
We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience in community engagement or development
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Event coordination experience
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
