We’re incredibly proud to share that our Board of Trustees recently attended the North East Charity Awards 2026, where Vision Northumberland was shortlisted for Trustee Board of the Year.
While we didn’t take home the award, being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful recognition of the commitment, dedication and passion shown by our Trustees.
Our Board plays a vital role in helping to shape the future of Vision Northumberland. They bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise, while always keeping our beneficiaries and our mission at the heart of the decisions they make.
From supporting our strategic direction to championing our values and helping us develop our services, our Trustees give their time and energy because they believe passionately in making a difference to people living with sight and hearing loss across Northumberland.
Being recognised alongside so many inspiring charities and organisations from across the North East was a proud moment for everyone at Vision Northumberland.
